Miniature Tea Set on Teapot Tuesday

12 Comments/ 93/ 0

I have a whole collection of miniature tea sets that I don’t have on display.  They are cute and impractical but sometimes it is fun to look at them.  I have an idea that I should gift them to my great niece someday.

Today I am sharing another cute teeny tiny set that makes me smile when I look at it.  I think you will smile as well.  Who doesn’t love penguins?

The Seven Cups of Tea
The first cup caresses my dry lips and throat,
The second shatters the walls of my lonely sadness,
The third searches the dry rivulets of my soul to find the stories of five thousand scrolls.
With the fourth the pain of past injustice vanishes through my pores.
The fifth purifies my flesh and bone.
With the sixth I am in touch with the immortals.
The seventh gives such pleasure I can hardly bear.
The fresh wind blows through my wings
As I make my way to Penglai~Lu Tong 790-835

This is such a cute tea set. And when you have grandchildren that “come for tea” I bet you use them a lot more. By the way the grandchildren will visit Mrs.McGillicutty the tea pot lady that they love to have a cuppa with. She has 24 cats! And a the best cookies….You’ve missed me, haven’t you?

That is too adorable. I love penguins 🐧. We have a miniature tea set that the girls used to play with when they were little. Not so much anymore. 🙂

But they are something that they can pass on to their own little girls later on! What a treasure for them to keep.

Penguins are the best. And itty bitty ones are even better.
