More Scenes from La Jolla

5 Comments/ 159/ 0

I have so many pictures from our recent trip to California that it may take me awhile to share them all. Today I decided to focus on a few that I snapped while we were walking around La Jolla Cove. It is such a beautiful area and the morning we were there it was a bit overcast but beautiful. The flowers are amazing and it was impossible to capture the beauty.

One of my favorites has to be the Bird of Paradise flower and we were at peak time for them. I don’t ever remember seeing such beautiful ones like these.

The area where we walked is home to a cave which is pretty amazing looking from observation points above it.

Of course someone started a Locks of Love on a fence –not sure if it will grow or not but you know I always have to document when I see a lock.

The scenery is stunning, don’t you think? We live in a wonderfully beautiful and diverse country.

Hope you enjoyed our little walk today. Have an amazing day. You deserve it.

I loved this visual tour of a gorgeous area. I especially love to see flowers in the wild. The only time I saw Bird of Paradise was in Hawaii <,before moving to Spain. We do grow them here. (just not me) Maybe I should try it.

Yes, I very much enjoyed this walk into warmth and ocean-side beauty as snow filters here in Minnesota and the temp is not even 30 degrees. Argh.

I think the bunches of blue and white flowers are my favorite.
