My posts will probably be Scotland heavy for awhile just because I have so many pictures and it was such a great trip. Today’s post will be picture heavy with limited text but I figure that will be just fine with most of my readers. Just a few of my favorite pictures from the trip. First up – my love affair with Cullen Skink. A lovely soup with smoked haddock, potatoes and cream which is what I suspect makes it so yummy. I think I had one more version of it but I didn’t take a picture.

All the hotels Aaron booked for us were top notch with amazing service. Every single one had some sort of welcome gift for us –this one in Edinburgh was probably our favorite.

This was one of my favorite pictures just because I did not look like a drowned rat like I did in most of them. 🙂 Plus who doesn’t love Paddington?

It was defintiely lambing season and we saw more lambs than people at times.

A favorite pastry soon became the cardamon bun. As yummy as it looks.

We got to see the real Crown of Scotland on display but there were not photographs allowed so I snapped this picture of one that was made as a replica. Carved out of wood it is used to adorn the top of the tent during the Holyroodhouse Garden Parties.

Finally one quick picture of a tree outside our hotel in Edinburgh that we got to see in various stages of blooming as we began and ended our trip in Edinburgh. Lovely.
