Today’s pretty teapot is a musical one. I wish I could remember where it came from but alas – the mind is not remembering. I know that I bought it and that it was not a gift as many of my other teapots are but that is as far as I can get. That’s okay- it is a pretty teapot and it matters not where it came from.

The song it plays??? No–not Tea for Two or anything remotely tea related. It plays “Memory” from Cats. Ah memories of a wonderful cup of tea?????
Perhaps.
There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.

Leave a commentThat is a lovely song though. A singing teapot is delightful. I’m sure your guest are impressed when you bring it out.
I love that you can’t remember where a teapot that plays Memories came from 🙂 It’s pretty. It reminds me of a furniture pattern that my grandmother had in her home. Thanks for making me think of her today!
I blame Covid brain…..I used to write notes and put in the teapots when I got them so I would not forget. Obviously I did not do that with this one. Sigh. Glad it reminded you or your sweet grandmother –this is a popular pattern for sure. Thanks for stopping by. Maksim coming up tomorrow!!!!
That is a very pretty tea pot and different too. Love it!

Tea or coffee are essential as part of Eat Sweet and Talk Sweet I suggest. 🙂
That is a beautiful tea pot. Love the flower pattern. I also have a musical tea pot but haven’t used it in quite a while.
So pretty and plays music too, double bonus.
You’re twice blessed to have this pot, Beth Ann — first, because it’s so pretty, and second, because it plays music!! Doesn’t matter that you can’t remember where it came from — I imagine you’re enjoying it regardless.
So daintily pretty.
Love it! I have one musical tea pot also. I picked it up at an estate sale and it actually does play “tea for two.” 😉
