Oh no—I should have specified a bit more on this! This is in Australia when we lived there. There was an animal sanctuary that we used to visit and this was there. 🙂 And no—I can not image a herd in the back yard. They would be drowning this week–so much rain!
As a child, I had a favorite book about Joey the Kangaroo. This brought back sweet memories of that easy-reader book, which I still have somewhere stashed away.
It’s doing well. A few books added, a few books taken. I think it will take awhile to get it noticed but we will get there! I do need to write a post about it, don’t I? Thanks for the reminder!!!!

Leave a commentI know you have deer in NC, but, not kangaroo! And, not in Ohio, either! Zoo? They are adorable. Can you imagine a herd in your yard? ❤

Sounds like the perfect book and how mea that you still have it someplace. I don’t have many things from my childhood so what I do have I cherish.
All the creatures of our world! I like this better than the toads, etc.
Agree. Toads are the worst –espeically if they are cane toads. Ewwww.
I was just thinking- how is your little library doing? Did I miss an update about it?
