Pretty in Floral on Teapot Tuesday

11 Comments/ 84/ 1

I picked up this pretty floral teapot this past week when I was visiting with my sister.  We headed to a local place for lunch and lo and behold they had an amazing shop.  The Blueberry Patch in Mansfield, Ohio holds a little bit of everything.  But the best part was all of the tea items.

It was hard to choose a teapot but I found one that they had just put on the shelves the day before.  Lucky me.

It even comes with adorable matching cups.  Those perfect double walled insulated ones that don’t burn your hands when you hold them.

The steeping basket does a perfect job of holding the tea while it brews. This time I chose a puerh and the boldness of the flavors when it was finished steeping were amazing.

I might have paired it with a pumpkin spice striped cookie.  Just saying.  It’s fall after all.

Just look at that adorable little cup of tea.  Come on over and I will share.

“As the sky prepares to settle its tired, aching feet
into the night’s velvet slippers

I settle, into my armchair, soaking the teabag,
of my thoughts, into warm liquidy stars.”
― Sanober Khan, A touch, a tear, a tempest

This one is quite different and I really like it. The blooming tea would work in it too. The quote is so perfect. I may borrow it.
