Sentimental Teapot Tuesday

11 Comments/ 2335/ 0

My friends get me the most amazing things sometimes and the teapot featured today is one of a kind.  It makes me smile whenever I look at it.  Smiling is a very good thing.

When I left Iowa I left behind a lot of great friends.  One of my last fun times out with friends included Donna and Jeni and we enjoyed some fun and a meal together.  Of course there were pictures involved because we are bloggers after all.

Jeni stepped up the game and when I arrived in Dothan to live temporarily before heading to North Carolina I found a package waiting  for me with this magical teapot inside.  Jeni teapot2

I absolutely love it. The picture captured exactly how much fun we have together including my wild Iowa windswept hair.  Jeni teapot

Jeni found a way to give me the perfect gift that will always remind me our our lunch at Papa’s American Cafe and our fun times together.  I think you have to agree that even though my pictures are not that great it is a pretty sweet teapot.

Though I cannot flee
From the world of corruption,
I can prepare tea
With water from a mountain stream
And put my heart to rest.

She definitely got the perfect teapot for me. I have it in Dothan and need to move it to Brevard. One more trip there!

How very special. You will think of your friends every time you have a cup of tea made in that teapot! How thoughtful.
