Tea Extras on Teapot Tuesday

11 Comments/ 94/ 0

Tea sometimes requires a few other items to help make the tea experience perfect. Of course the perfect teapot is key but how about tea strainers and tea balls? Both are great items to gift a tea lover and today I am sharing a couple of fun ones that are in my tea accessory drawer.

First up is this adorable tea strainer that my son and daughter in law picked out for me for Christmas. Of course it has a cat theme. They know me well.

Out of the box and uncollapsed this is a pretty cute tea strainer.
Sitting on top of my mug waiting for the tea to be poured and strained. I love it.

Next up is a little set I got at TJMaxx a long time ago. It’s been sitting in my tea accessory drawer unused but I finally took it out of the plastic and now it is time to use this happy tea ball. Interchangeable emojis make this one super fun.

Which one would you pick?

Teatime needs to be fun and both of these items will definitely bring a smile to my face when I use them. Which one makes you smile today? Let me know and remember to Comment for a Cause – Project: Music Heals Us.

That kitty tea strainer is just perfect. It looks like it might be good for travelling as it is collapsable. As for the emojis, I would pick the one winking. I love the tablecloth too!

I think the collapsible strainer would be great for travel as well and it might find its way into my luggage or purse next trip. That table cloth has yet to be made into a tablecloth –just the raw fabric now but someday….

The strainer is so adorable! I like all the emojis but I think I will have to pick the heart eyes.

I have a similar collapsible strainer but it’s just plain not a cute kitty. It works well for traveling – I rarely leave the house without some tea in my bag. 🙂

You are always prepared for tea! I love that and thought of you when we were in Hawaii —they had some amazing honey at the chocolate farm and I thought you would love it in your tea. 🙂
