Tea Infusers and Tea Rocks on Teapot Tuesday

12 Comments/ 99/ 1

I have featured many tea infusers on Teapot Tuesday before and I just keep finding more fun ones. Today let’s take a look at a few that I have found.

First up a cute little blue umbrella to hold my tea leaves.  It is so cute and functional and easy to use.

How about a black swan?

Next up is my yellow submarine.  Come on–who wouldn’t love a cup of tea brewed with a yellow submarine?

How about a strawberry to use to brew a fruity blend of tea?

Finally I have an adorable metal monkey who can hang onto the side of my cup and brew my tea just right.

Another great item I have found to use in my tea cup is something that is often used in whiskey.  These  soapstone “rocks” help keep the drink either cold or hot and in this case my tea rocks are the perfect way to keep my tea warm while I drink it.

I bought this little box of soapstone rocks at my favorite store Marshall’s and love how they look as well as how well they work in my cup of tea.

Which one is your favorite today?  Let me know in the comments.

…There came a knock at the door, and the butler entered with a laden tea-tray and set it down upon a small Japanese table.  There was a rattle of cups and saucers and the hissing of a fluted Georgian urn. Two globe shaped china dishes were brought in by a page. Dorian Gray went over and poured out the tea.  Oscar Wilde from The Picture of Dorian Gray

I love your tea infusers! Mine are pretty ordinary. It looks like a fun way to add whimsey to your day. Had no idea there were tea rocks.

The same box of rocks can be used for whiskey and other drinks. I think it is basically an all purpose thing. 🙂

The monkey. I always wanted a monkey when I was growing up.

A few years ago I got a green guitar shaped infuser in a Christmas gift exchange. I had no idea what it was. Yes, you may laugh.

The monkey is pretty darn cute I must admit. He would make any cup of tea more fun. I have never seen a guitar shaped one–gotta keep my eyes open for that one.

Perfect. Aren’t black swans lovely? My husband thinks we need swans on our lake here.

Your collection has grown beyond teapots. I didn’t even know there were decorative infusers! I love the monkey.
