“Take some more tea,” the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
“I’ve had nothing yet,” Alice replied in an offended tone, “so I can’t take more.”
“You mean you can’t take less,” said the Hatter: “it’s very easy to take more than nothing.”
“Nobody asked your opinion,” said Alice.”

Leave a commentI love the conversation between Alice, the Hare and the Hatter. My favourite children’s tome.
I do love that story as well. 🙂
Such a fun story! Love the teapot as well.
Thanks! Btw— will post review for Confessions today when I get to internet connection!!!
Love a white teapot!
I have a lot of white ones . I realized this as I was getting the house ready for “showing” status. I have A LOT! 🙂
Got my fingers crossed the house sells fast.. I just have a feeling it will.. 🙂
Oh, no, a chicken. I do not particularly like chickens. At least not live ones at my feet.
Well this one would not cluck or peck you one bit—-in fact you might get a chuckle out of seeing something hot pouring from its beak! 🙂
Love the chicken teapot, especially being white as it’ll go with any color setting… ..you do have some unusual ones. I can only imagine how many u must have! Happy packing them!
Guess what? I don’t have to pack them up. :-). One of the perks of being married to Mr. Diamond is that the company pays for the packing and move.
I haven’t read Alice in Wonderland since I was a child (having a son, of course, means those good books that I used to love went unread, ha!). Maybe I need to re-read it, just for my own delight. Love this little white hen-pot!
I think I need to reread a lot of the classics myself. I hardly know where to start!
Oh, this is my favorite to date! Love all things roosters except the real ones. Those thing hurt when they spur you! I know. Lol
I am not a huge fan of live chickens either but this one is going to be okay.
Agreed!
Did it wake you for tea this morning?
Nope —-I am not near it this week so it did not get a chance!!!
Good call! 😉
I love that this one is just plain white — very simple, but very cute too because….. it’s a chicken! ha
That’s a sweet teapot!
Thank you!!! I think so, too!
A lovely chicken teapot. It looks like it would pour well also. Good luck getting the house ready for show. Our realtor loved my collection of teapots lined up on top of the kitchen cupboards. (Not nearly as extensive a collection as yours tough).
Alice In Wonderland a favorite of mine and my teens. He liked the story or as he told someone once, “it’s not all about Alice, you know.” Like the pot too!
Cute teapot. I never liked Alice in Wonderland. Maybe now that I’m older it would make more sense.
A nice teapot and I like chickens but do not live roosters as they are not too friendly. I know because one used to run after me.
I am sure you ran fast!!!
This is quite a handsome teapot! Does it stain because it’s all white?
Haven’t used it enough yet to tell but I suspect it will.
