Teapot Tuesday

12 Comments/ 2780/ 0

Today’s teapot is a very sweet one that our youngest son, Aaron, gave me in New York last week.  He had gone shopping with his girlfriend in Pennsylvania and found this adorable teapot in an antique shop.  I love that he thinks of me every time he sees a fun teapot and this one is so perfect. teapot

Thanks for joining me on Teapot Tuesday.  The teapots keep on coming.

“Poor Mrs. Benefer,” Heather murmured. “Well, a nice cup of tea and she’ll be right as rain.””Oh, puh-leeze, Heather. A nice cup of tea, indeed. A nice cup of tea, two Prozac, and sleep for a week, maybe…”

Yes, I was wondering where you took the pics. My bedroom is blue toile with yellow accents so, of course, I love this! The pot is sweet, too. It’s nice to have anyone think of us but very special, indeed, to have your son remember you in this way.

Thanks, Laura. I loved this teapot and Aaron is one thoughtful son. Both of them are, actually. I think they just always can find the right thing to get for me when they are traveling.

She is so dainty and pretty! And, the fact that it bought especially for you by your son is extra special! Hugs!

Oh, yes, I knew right away that these are your beach house colors. Some day, right? How lovely that Aaron thought to buy this for you. As I write, I am wearing earrings my son brought me from a high school trip to Spain. There’s something about them that bring me closer to him physically since he is so far away. I’m sure it’s the same for you when you see those teapots from your guys.

Exactly—you get it. Anytime my boys get me something it means a lot and I always smile when I see the item. Both of them are really good about finding special things for me when they travel and it really makes me smile to think that they are thinking of me. The yellow and blue are perfect, aren’t they? Chris is not a fan of yellow so I may have to limit my use of it in our someday beach house and substitute some red in there. 🙂

Those stairs were so cute. I loved the idea and it is a simple enough one to do I would think. Go for it.
