Tiny Teapot on Teapot Tuesday

10 Comments/ 87/ 0

It is said that good things come in small packages.  How about tiny packages?  This adorable little Sadler teapot is one of the smallest in my collection and I seriously doubt that it would fill even a doll cup but isn’t it a cutie???

1

Little gold detail and painted morning glories make this little pot one of a kind and easy to fit into a tiny space.

Cook, Cook, drink your tea,
But save some in the pot for me.
We’ll watch the tea leaves in our cup
When our drink is all sipped up.
Happiness or fortune great,
What will our future be?

From the book, “Afternoon Tea at Pittock Mansion” Quote by R.Z. Berry

This sized teapot reminds me of the one my mom had as a child. Which reminds me, I have no idea what happened to it.

It is tiny and not functional at all — hope one day you can find the one your mom had. Things like that slip by sometimes when things get packed up and sorted and it is hard to part with them when there is sentimental value. I don’t have much from my childhood but what I do have I cherish.
