Tis The Season – Vintage Christmas Crawl

41 Comments/ 440/ 0

The countdown to Christmas is on and I am jumping on the Christmas bandwagon.  Or something like that.

When I read that my favorite new shop in Brevard, Burlap and Lace, is going to be part of a Vintage Christmas Crawl on November 11th from 10 am – 5 pm I got pretty excited.  When I realized that I was actually going to be in town for it I was even more excited.  You can not imagine how many events I want to go to but actually have to miss because of previous plans.

But this one – this one- I get to experience AND I get to take my BFF Ann.  So I can not imagine a more perfect day.

The Vintage Christmas Crawl features 12 different shops from Brevard to Weaverville and while I have no idea if we will make it to all of them  I do know that we will be starting at Burlap and Lace on Saturday morning, November 11th and making our best effort.

The participating shops are as follows:

Brevard, NC  — Burlap and Lace

                              Roost

Mills River, NC — The Tin Roof

                                   The Wagon Wheel

Biltmore Village, NC  —- Biltmore Lamp and Shade Gallery

                                              The Gardener’s Cottage

Asheville, NC — Rose’s Garden Shop

                               Chatsworth Art and Antiques

                               The Pink House

                              Thyme in the Garden

Weaverville, NC — Shop Around The Corner

                                    The Cottage Door

I am thrilled to be able to participate in such a fun event and I know that even if I don’t buy a single thing (which is probably NOT going to be the case) it will be such great fun.

If you are in the area and want to stop in to check out a couple of the shops I am sure they will love to have you.  You might even see another blog post about this, just saying.

Tell me, what do YOU love about the season?  Are you excited or do you think it is too early to be excited about Christmas?Remember that all comments this month mean a 50 cent donation to Free Rein.  You can read more about that by clicking here.

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...
