I just can’t get over the fact that there are white squirrels! If ours were white, maybe I wouldn’t mind them eating all the bird seed….at least they’re entertaining while they’re doing it!
That’s amazing – a new one for me. We have black squirrels, which are originally from Canada but a bunch escaped from the National Zoo (in Washington, DC) and now live happily in Northern Virginia. (Since he/she doesn’t have pink eyes, and therefore not an albino, I’m guessing just a beautiful anomaly.)
They are a thing here in Brevard— basically a mutation of a Fox Squirrel. They are protected and Brevard boasts everything white Squirrel due to the abundance of them. Thanks for stopping by!

I do prefer them to @regular” squirrels so I guess I am a bit biased. 😊

So cute! You caught some great photos of him.
There were actually two of them but never in the same area close enough to get both of them in a picture.
I never tire of seeing these white squirrel pix. They make me smile.
They are pretty darn neat, aren’t they??? They are so much better than “ordinary” squirrels!
