Would You Wear It?

13 Comments/ 216/ 0

When I was in Atlanta with Ann we did a bit of shopping on the way to the hotel. Of course we had to look at shoes because it’s us. Shoes stores are a part of any shopping trip. It is just the way it is. We even hit one of those discount shoe stores where I found these lovely things.

Need a close up? Here ya go.

.

These were too large but you get the idea. Plastic and goofy and after sharing them on Facebook I found out that they are actually a popular thing, Kind of like Crocs which I have refused to buy ever and have told Chris that ” No, just because Theo has them you are not getting any.”. I know. I am a big meanie.

This week I was able to volunteer again for Sharing House giving backpacks filled with school supplies and a pair of new shoes, socks and undies to students in our area. By the time the program is done there will probably be over 600 students served. It is a most wonderful program and one of my favorite things to be a part of. Imagine my surprise when one of the students who came in had these shoes on his feet.

.

He said he loved them and the little add ons came with them! He definitely could pull off the look where as I could not. But you never know….there might be some in my future if I can put smiley faces on them.

Would you wear them?

These were not comfy but they were too big so I can’t say if the right size would have been. 😉

Um, no. But I’m sure some of the fashions ‘in my day’ were just as foreign to older folks then, too!

I don’t get this style at all and think the shows are butt ugly. I’ve never bought crocs and no one in my family has ever worn them!

Of-course! Perhaps even today! And you are a big meanie. You could even put a smiley face on a pair of crocs!

P.S. What size does Mr. Diamond wear. I don’t suppose he is a pink croc sort of guy but the Olive green is nice and I could be wrong! He and Theo could croc together!

I know I know! I did think of the smiley face fidgets. I know people love them…my sister does!

Mr Diamond wears size 10 1/2, btw. I will message you a pic of Theo in his. They are adorable.

No crocs for me either. Those bright pink shoes are certainly “interesting” but I’ll pass. I think you should get a pair just for fun and add googly eyes to them. 😉
