Teapot Tuesday

25 Comments/ 2703/ 0

Teapot Tuesday continues today on this last Tuesday in September. This little teapot is just a mini one but is not part of a set like I have been highlighting the past few weeks.  But it is sweet all by itself, isn’t it?

Cherries and chocolate decorate the top for a perfect lid to compliment the cake motif.

Even if it is only for decorative purposes it makes me smile when I look at it.  How about you?  Don’t forget that there are only a few days to Comment for a Cause for Copeland Oaks.

Christopher Robin was home by this time, because it was the afternoon, and he was so glad to see them that they stayed there until very nearly tea-time, and then they had a Very Nearly tea, which is one you forget about afterwards, and hurried on to Pooh Corner, so as to see Eeyore before it was too late to have a Proper Tea with Owl.” – A.A. Milne, The House at Pooh Corner

You’ve got me interested in these things and thinking of combing the thrift shops but I already have collected enough stuff. Mostly dust nowadays.

That made me smile. There are simply a million different ones out there ranging from very inexpensive to really expensive. 🙂

How sweet. A teapot in the shape of a cake!! It does make you smile. I love the quote from Pooh and think I will have a very nearly tea right now.

that would be perfect setting to enjoy with all the leftover birthday cake I have here!! And they definitely have the right idea in the 100 Acre Woods — tea twice per day! 🙂
