That’s a lot of books. And I thought I was doing good with 30 something. I don’t think I’ve read any of your books except for The Language of flowers. I find that amazing. You probably read the ones I read this year years ago. 🙂 I think there is a list of them with covers somewhere on the web, maybe on my blog, or at Goodreads. (I’m using my iPad right now and I can’t do a thing with it.)

Some of these were quick easy ones! I don’t need too serious these days! Will check out yours! I think you recommended The Language of Flowers to me!

Wow! You’re a prolific reader! Thanks for the list–I’m always on the lookout for books to read. Have you read Gone Girl or What Alice Forgot? I just finished them for my book clubs–enjoyed them both very much!

I really enjoyed The Weird Sisters…..and I also read a couple of Brenda’s novels, but that is about all from your list. Do blogs count? 🙂

What did you think of Chevy Stevens’ Still Missing? For me, it is one of those rare books that I still think about often. It really made an impression on me. I also loved Gone Girl.

I liked that book a lot and I agree–it kind of stays with you. My favorite book lately has been Calico Joe—-didn’t think I would like it so much but it surprised me. I love to share books lists with folks like you because you have great ones to offer up that I haven’t read!

Impressive list! I seem to have slowed down on my reading – too much work getting in the way. 🙂 As it is, all the books I’ve read this year are piled atop a dresser, waiting to be summarized on the blog, like you just did. And we don’t have a single book in common!

I used to write a little summary and then I got behind and just kind of gave up on it so I re-compliled the list and posted it today so it would be easy to update. My problem is that I have books from so many places–friends, family, library, on my Kindle, on my iPad, everywhere!!! I have to really be good about writing them down or I forget that I read it!!!

I know! And then you buy one that looks interesting and about 20 pages in, you think, “Hmmm….this feels familiar…”

I am so far behind you in reading this year! I have found I don’t read quite as much right now because I have not been taking public transportation this year. Every assignment I had was off the public route & i needed to take my car. And I haven’t been working since the beginning of August, so I haven’t used any transportation. I only have time to read in bed now & then I find I fall asleep so easily with my reader. How was Bossypants – I’d love to read it.

My list of books read are all different than yours. I am on a mission to read all of Richard Paul Evans books. He has such interesting plots. I like the ones that I am surprised when it ends.

Wow! And here I was feeling all full of myself being 4 away from 50 reads for the year. There’s a lesson to be learned here, but I’m too busy pouting to realize it. LOL! I’ve read a handful of the same books as you. It seems you and I love us some brain candy!

I don’t always read the most intellectual books but that is okay! There were so many years I just did not have time to read and now I make the time! I imagine I have a lot more disposable time than you do ! Your goal is a great one, too!!!

I am a fan of Richard Paul Evans and am reading his “Lost Decender” now. His Walk series of three were just great. His books always surprise me and I like that.
