Bag of Bags

8 Comments/ 89/ 0

Who can relate to this picture?

It’s a bit ridiculous. I have bags of bags. Multiple bags of bags.

I have been trying to clean cupboards up bit by bit and this cupboard in my pantry was out of control.

I have so many bags.

Every time I get a delivery of produce I get a bag.

Every purchase these days seems to come with a reusable bag. That’s not a bad thing but I have way too many.

Chris and I got used to using reusable bags when we lived in Australia. It is a thing there and has been for a very long time. Many places did not even have bags at the check out — you were responsible for bringing your own. Actually I still have some of those reusable bags from 10 + years ago when we were living there. Now that may be a little ridiculous.

So — raise your hand if you have a bag of bags. I know a local charity that is going to get a donation soon because this has gotten a little bit out of control. This is one collection that I need to wean myself of. What about you?

Yep…when we down-sized recently- our bags were left behind. Most were dropped off at Goodwill filled with other forgettable “things”. Goodbye stuff! Toodles!

I’m definitely raising my hand too!! I just cleaned them out of our pantry and front hall closet as well. Whew! WAY too many bags! Some of them we’ve had for years too because when hubby was still working as a sales rep, he often went to trade shows where he….you guessed it…was gifted with a reusable bag.

I don’t have many at all. I feel bad that I’m not helping the environment.

Right there with you, girl. Bags on Bags. I did throw some away the other day. Bags I got from the grocery store and use them in my small trash cans. I could have wall papered a room. lol
