Candle Lighter Award and Liebster Blog Award

16 Comments/ 2734/ 0

Sweet!!!! More awards, y’all!  Benzeknees has given me two fabulous awards!!!  I am so excited!!!  Check out her blog over here to learn more about her and to read some of her fabulous blog posts.  I am a fairly new follower of hers and love what she has to say about life !  Now on to the awards!

Liebster Blog Award

  1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them
  2. Reveal your top 5 (or more) picks for the award & let them know by leaving a comment on their blog
  3. Post the award on your blog
  4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the blogosphere – other bloggers
  5. And best of all – have fun & spread the karma.

The Candle Lighter Award is given to recognize “anyone who lights the world with their work”.

I am going to “bestow” the love on a few of my favorite bloggers!!!  Some of them may already have these awards but hey—twice is just as good!!!  Even better!!! The Candlelighter Award is one that I really like because it highlights folks who really light the world with their work!!! Awesome!!!!   So to the following bloggers —you deserve both of them!!!  Please check out their blogs and see what they are up to!

Jake / Jack  at Poems and Ponderings  (Always has posts that make you think, smile, reflect, and ponder!)

Brenda at Fiction with a Purpose (She just published another book, folks, so check her out!!!)

Hilary at Feeling Beachie (Hilary is absolutely the best–has great stories and a wonderful Friday blog hop)

TBM at 50 Year Project (Join her on her journey through countries, books and movies!!!)

Paula at Simply Sandwich (Paula is part of the sandwich generation and does a fantastic job of caring for both her teen/tween and mom)

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

I loved this book! It had my interest from the very first page and was my "airplane" book on a recent trip. Author Mary Kubica created believable and interesting characters that the reader learned to identify with and care about. Mi...

All the Light We Cannot See

This is quite a book! I had it recommended to me by several people and while I thought it might be a little dark and depressing it made me have a better understanding of what life in this time period was like. The strength of the huma...

An Abundance of Katherines
by John Green
Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
