Dragon Along on Teapot Tuesday

8 Comments/ 95/ 0

Okay I admit the title is lame but hey—I am claiming Mountain Madness or something  Spring is here, I just spotted my first hummingbird of the season and I am running on pollen.

But I digress.  It is Tuesday after all and that means another teapot is showcased on It’s Just Life.   It is a fun one but maybe not too practical for actual tea serving but I think this guy has some charm of his own.

Just look at this little guy’s face.

A face only a mother could love? Perhaps? But I find it fun and while it is not a practical teapot to use it is fun.

A prize to anyone who can read this and tell me what it says. Ready, set, go.

Love it. I’m always a fan of the blue on white. There’s just something about it. And I can see how a nicely brewed cup of green tea tastes extra special coming out of this pot.

It’s different, that’s for certain! And so quirky, it’s actually endearing.

I love this teapot. I’m sure the bottom says something like Love, Warmth, Live.

You always have the most interesting teapots. This particular one looks like part dragon and part fish.

A sea dragon? No idea what the markings on the bottom are. Not regular Chinese, not regular Korean, they remind me of some of the Indian languages that I’ve never actually seen or heard in use; I don’t even know which one.
