A recent trip to the beaches on Jekyll Island, GA found us on one that we have visited before but were happy to go back to. Driftwood Beach can be accessed from North Beachview Drive and there are plenty of parking spots available for interested beach goers.
It is a popular place for weddings and I can just imagine how beautiful it would be for a small intimate ceremony.

The day we visited was sunny and warm, clear blue skies and a light breeze. Perfect day for beach walking and for snapping a few pictures.

I hope you got a sense of calm and serenity as you viewed these pictures today. What a gift to have been able to visit this beautiful beach again.
Have you ever visited a beach like this? I would love to hear about it in the comments so please Comment for. a Cause — Ukrainian Red Cross.

Leave a commentWow, what an amazing place! There are a few tree remnants visible at certain times of the year at Carova. It’s amazing to see them, and know that, at times, you’re driving right over them when they’re covered in sand!
That’s a lot of driftwood in one place. I’d love to visit and have a few photo shoots there.
What? I’ve never seen anything like this! Does the driftwood come and go and/or shift around? Love the photos!
That’s pretty amazing! Some huge driftwood!!
The driftwood is amazing on this beach. There were some smaller pieces to be found on the becah near our home in Vancouver, but I´ve never seen such large ones like this. It´s like another world!
Holy moly, that is a lot of driftwood! Your photos are great!
That’s some driftwood. I’ve never seen anything like it, although not unexpected as I’ve ever only seen the ocean once. Back in 1977. Thank you for showing me this form of nature’s art. It’s inspiring and lovely.
Just lovely! Lots of interesting driftwood sizes & sharps.
