And then the rain came down and washed it all away…

Those words could not be truer for something that I spied on a recent trip to the Transylvania County Library. As I walked up I noticed something on the sidewalk and of course after I was done inside I had to follow the arrows and find the mural.

How fun is this? On a brilliantly sunny day these messages made me smile and I am sure made many smile who bothered to take the time to follow and enjoy.

I love when the unexpected happens. The extraordinary. I look for it and am happy to find it and share here with you. Have a wonderful day and remember to leave me a comment for our Comments for a Cause this month – Native American Heritage Association.

Leave a commentWhat a simple thing to brighten everyone’s day. Back during the pandemic, a couple of gals came down our street and chalk-painted designs in front of everyone’s homes.
What a fun surprise! Good messages too!
Love that! In Athens (nearby town), people write poetry on the sidewalks: some of it is original work, and some of it comes from the major writers. Such lovely messages that you shared here. What a delight to find!
That would have made me smile too. So nice! We have a street painting festival near us each year and it’s amazing what some of these artists come up with.
Very very cool. Did it say who or what group drew it?
These are very wonderful. One of those things that make you feel good all over.
What a joyfully unexpected find. I am tucking this idea away for next summer. The sidewalk past my house, with all its foot traffic, would be the ideal place to create art and write inspiring messages. Love this so much.
Oh yes! It would be perfect and I bet the grandkids could help!
Kinda of like finding the painted rocks that have messages.
I like, “Believe in yourself”.
Cute to look at, and no doubt fun for a lot of children to create.
That would certainly put a smile on my face. It is lovely to think someone, or ones have kindness in their hearts!
Such a neat find! And I’m sure it brightened a lot of folks’ day.
