Meow on Teapot Tuesday

7 Comments/ 174/ 0

Teapot Tuesday features a cute little cat teapot today and I was over the moon thrilled to find this one.  I came home from being gone for 10 days several years ago to a stack of mail and boxes and one was a totally unexpected package from my nephew’s girlfriend who is now his wife.

Why would she be sending me a package?  I mean it is not my birthday or anything. So I ripped it open and found this lovely little girl inside with a note explaining that Kristin had found her at a thrift shop.  To make it even better the thrift shop raises money for animals so it was a win win in every respect.I think this one is going to be one of my favorite ones because it came from her and because it is so doggone cute.

Even with the head off it is cute.Look at that tiny little hole in the spout for the tea to pour out. Adorable, right?
I think this one is a pretty wonderful thrift store find and one that I will love to have in my hutch.

Don’t forget to leave me a comment and let me know what you think of today’s teapot. Remember all comments made on the blog this. month mean a 50 cent donation to our Comments for a Cause – Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Definitely a cutie and special because someone was thinking of you when they purchased it.

Just the fact that your nephew’s girlfriend, at the time, thought of you is such a treasure.. You left a lovely impression on her for her to send you this precious teapot.

What an adorably silly version of a “calico cat”!
