My Hawaii Highlight Reel

11 Comments/ 83/ 1

Hawaii was wonderful and I thought I would give my readers a preview of posts to come with a few of my favorite pictures from our trip to Kauai . I am still fighting jet lag so posting pictures is what I think I can handle today. Make sure you come back over the next couple of weeks to see more pictures and read more about our fabulous trip.

The Sheraton welcomed us in a beautiful way.
This Hawaiian Monk Seal was on our beach for the better part of a day. They are protected and this little guy was roped off so folks would leave him alone.
The highlight of the trip was a plane trip to see the island from the air. The little 4 seater Cessna gave us a great view of the island.
We had a luxury room with two balconies. This was the view from one of the balconies so you can bet I was on that as often as I could be to take in the view.
Coffee beans
“Smile”
One of the many waterfalls we were able to see.
Chris next to a Cook Pine aka Cell Tower Tree
Cacoa
Monarch butterfly in the making.
Chickens are a thing on the island. They are literally everywhere.
What a view!

Thanks for taking a look at some of my pictures today. Let me know which one is your favorite – I would love to know which one you liked the most today. Remember to leave me a comment for our Comments for a Cause – The Haven.

Fabulous pictures depicting your great holiday. I love them all but the view from the balcony is my favourite. Glad you are home safe and with your fur babies.

Wonderful! My favorite is either your view from the balcony or the guy up in the palm tree. Such a great trip!

What fun to see your photos. You were brave to ride in the plane- but the views! I lived the “cell phone tree”

Loved the view from the balcony. Wish I was there rather than in cold and snowy Minnesota.

How much snow do you have? Hawaii was super windy our entire time there ( think hat weather all the time) and rainy the last 4 days. But at least it wasn’t snow!!!
