Ready for Teatime?

7 Comments/ 92/ 0

I say it all of the time and I will say it again today – I have THE best friends. One of my Connestee friends and neighbor, Elaine, recently went to the UK to see her daughter who is serving in the Air Force. She brought me home a present! I am so excited to share it today.

I love the Pinkie girls that grace the plates, don’t you? This traditional English Cake Stand is going to be the perfect addition to my teas.

Just look at that lovely topper that will allow me to move the tray of goodies without spilling a thing.

We have a little tea planned for next week and you know that I will be using this sweet little tea treat stand to share some goodies with my friends. Stay tuned for more tea time pictures hopefully next week.

The perfect gift. I love these cake stands. I know someone who drilled holes in old plates she found at a second hand shop, bought the fittings and made hereself some cake stands. So clever but I think its easier to buy one. (or to get one as a gift – lucky you!)

Old Girls in Low Cotton
