Red Bloom and Cookiepalooza!!!!

6 Comments/ 1447/ 0

I am drinking the most amazing cuppa (that’s for my Australian friends!)!!!!! In my last shipment from Adagio Teas they put a little surprise in my box–a free little packet called Red Bloom. Now it has been in my cupboard for quite some time—-it actually fell out at me today when I was putting some stuff away so I thought “Hmmm….maybe it is something I should try!”. So try it I did and it is amazing!!! Thank you, Adagio Tea, for giving me a little bit of heaven in my cup today!!! Starts out as a tightly wrapped little ball of tea which I failed to document photographically but you can kind of see on the packaging. Then it blooms! Into a beautiful flower and a fabulous cup of tea!!! So enjoyable!!! A little bit of Christmas surprise in my cup!

So while I am thinking about it—I have a plethora of cookies. I still have some kinds I want to make but not sure if I will or not. But what I have decided is that I am going to have a Cookiepalooza and give some lucky blog reader a box of fresh homemade delicious cookies!!! Simply make a comment on any post on my blog from now until Monday morning, December 20th and YOU, yes, YOU, will be entered into a drawing to receive a box of cookies. I will contact the winner and get mailing information. Tell your friends and family! Stop by, read some posts (there are a lot…..) make a single comment on any post—I will get a message that you did. Your name will go in the hat or gift bag or whatever I put them into and one of my cats will pick the winner!!! It’s all legit and my way of sharing some of my Christmas joy with some of you!!! Cookies go well with everything…come to think of it…one would taste quite nice with my cuppa of Red Bloom! Cheers!

You KNEW I would comment! LOL Seriously, I am NOT a tea drinker, but if I had seen that thing floating in my cup I would have thought a “creature” was in the bottom and I would have been dumping it out! LOL Think I’ll stick with my Swiss Miss. LOL

I can’t believe you aren’t a tea drinker! What on earth is wrong with you??? LOL It does look like a sea anemone or something but then I knew what it was! If I had happened upon it unknowingly it might have been a different story!!! You are the FIRST entry into Cookiepalooza!!!!! Good luck!

I think the tea is really cool. I drink at least one cup of tea every night in the colder months and I have never seen anything like this.

Regan! It was pretty cool but I think when my husband came home and saw the “remains” in the cup I think he was a little worried about me!!! It did look a little funky!!! Thanks for stopping by–you are in the drawing for Cookiepalooza!

I’m becoming more of a tea drinker the older I get….I’m always cold anymore even down here in the south and I love to drink tea in the evening. I do not think I’m brave enough to try the “flower blossoming” cup of tea 🙂 I do remember some very delicious baked goods coming from Beth Ann’s kitchen about 20 years ago!!! And I would really enjoy those homemade cookies because my new home’s oven isn’t working!!! So, thus, I’m not able to bake for Christmas this year. So besides sending wishes to the Chiles’ family for a very Merry Christmas……I’m hoping to be entered for the cookies 🙂
