Sadler Time on Teapot Tuesday

24 Comments/ 4857/ 1

I found this lovely Sadler teapot at Affordables on First in Mason City.  I love going in their store because they always have teapots.  I have found several here to add to my collection as you might remember reading about them here and here and here.

Today’s teapot is a lovely green with an interior that boasts a natural clay like color.teapot 3

The gold design on the outside and handle and spout make this a lovely piece.teapot 2It’s always wonderful when I make a good buy and on the day I bought this one I think it might have even been on sale if my memory serves me correctly. They often have special sales and if you hit it on a half price “green sticker” day a customer can really hit the jackpot.

My experience…convinced me that tea was better than brandy, and during the last six months in Afica I took no brandy, even when sick taking tea instead.    Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919)  Letter, 1912

I only have a couple of teapots but I always wished I’d bought one in England. This one looks so especially English. And what a great deal you got!

Sadler teapots are the best and the clay inside results in excellent tasting tea. Love Teddy Roosevelt’s quote.

I love Sadler!! That’s my grandma’s maiden name, and sometimes when I drink tea from my own Sadler china, I like to pretend I am the sole heiress to the great tea fortune. LOL

I was thinking the same thing. How many boxes will be teapots and how do you wrap all of them?! Ha!

And that is the beauty of having a company pay for your packing and moving! 🙂 #spoiled

When I did the blog change over to WordPress.org I lost a bunch of people along the way despite my best attempts to stay connected. Thank you for finding me again! I value your input and love to check out your blog as well. 🙂

Is the change worth it? I have been thinking of doing it myself for Segmation but I didn’t know if it was worth loosing followers. >> http://www.segmation.wordpress.com
