Soyphisticated Candles of Mason City, Iowa – soy candles – handmade soap – organic lotion – aromatherapy candles – soy tealights – soy votives

2 Comments/ 1116/ 0

Still doing some experimenting with the new blog site and think I have a new part figured out!  Yippee!!   So I thought I would share with my readers a great little shop I found in Mason City.  The owner, Camille Lee, has a nice business of soy candles and in this day and age when going green in in vogue she is ahead of the game by already having a great green business for 8 years.  Cheers to her!!!

I ventured there to get a couple candles for gifts–one to include in a gift basket for the Body of Christ Auction at Epworth UMC (Concord, NC) and one for a friend who will eventually be moving to Mason City who is going through some health issues.   I found the perfect “flavor” to include a bit of Iowa—Iowa Prairie Wildflowers!!!

The shop is easy to get to and she also has a website which I have included below so that you can check it out yourself!  Great place and a great way to support a local business!!

I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses—especially those who go out of their way to be green!!! Happy to have found your shop! Will definitely be back when the one candle I saved for myself is done!!! Thanks for the great shopping experience!
