The funny thing was that he stripped all the kernels off and left a huge pile on the swing. They eventually disappeared over a couple of days so I guess he did all the work up front and then moved them. 😊

You welcome squirrels. I try to chase them away. Yesterday I thumped on the window as I observed one digging in a flower pot. Tis the season here in Minnesota.

Hahaha there’s no shortage of those critters in our yard either. It’s nice of you to feed them, ours have to fend for themselves. When we first moved here our balcony was covered in bird excrement, so we never put out any feeders. There’s still myriads of them though. 🙂

Putting our cat outside daily seems to have made all the pesky squirrels stay away.
Unfortunately, it also means the birds are not flying by the feeder either! 🙂

Squirrels can be either a great source of entertainment or a real nuisance

I kind of like them and know that they will always provide me with entertainment even if they do clean out the feeders from time to time.

Our squirrels pull off the kernel, take a few nibbles off the “good end,” and leave the rest for the pigeons.

It is a fun feeder, isn’t It? I try to keep them out of the other feeders but it really does not work out too well.

Old Girls in Low Cotton
