Tea Skills from Pandemic Revisited

12 Comments/ 138/ 0

I must admit that 2020 was an interesting year to put it mildly. I feel like we almost had a few months of “normal” and now we are back with the Delta variant raging everywhere. I know several people with “break through” outbreaks. We are not out of the woods yet and I was feeling pretty bummed out this past weekend when we had to cancel our upcoming first trip back to Minnesota and Iowa since we moved six years ago.

So in an effort to get myself out of my funk I wanted to revisit a skill I acquired early on in the pandemic and reshare it with you. Here you go.

Of course I am always up for some fun and when I saw the following meme on Facebook I knew I had to give it a shot.

Of course I had to try it. So thanks to my videographer, Chris, we documented my feeble attempt. Take a look. It’s really short and won’t take much of your time but I guarantee you will laugh.

So things I learned? Teapot has to be filled to the top and a small opening is best. I should have picked one with a round opening at the top instead of a square but I was just looking for a small opening when I grabbed this teapot. Also –note to self –comb hair before recording. True Covid look here, folks. Definitely not ready to attempt this inside the house quite yet.

Who’s ready to come for tea?

Ha ha ha. Too funny. Good thing you did it outside.
And yes, reading Covid news just bums you out so much. I’m worried about the kids getting send home again. They are all looking forward to in-person school and we will keep our fingers crossed. I’m so glad we are all vaccinated and I hope that by being diligent we won’t experience break-through infections.

Cool new skill! I hate to say I’ve developed the skills of tuning out responsibilities and eating my way through that COVID handout I’d hoped to use to build my business. If we can just keep public Internet access I hope to recover soon 🙂

Well I am not sure this is a skill that adds much to the world but it made me laugh!
