Teapot Tuesday

12 Comments/ 109/ 2

Today’s teapot is a small 2 cup teapot with a definite feline vibe.

With cats adorning the teapot it seems fitting to have the words to a nursery rhyme encircling the top and bottom, doesn’t it?

I love how the cats all have different expressions and looks on their faces.

From the lid to the spout this teapot is decked out with cats.

Cardew teapots have become a favorite of mine because of their character and  whimsy.  I think you will agree that this one fits those qualities.

*****************************

“I don’t want tea,” said Clary, with muffled force. “I want to find my mother. And then I want to find out who took her in the first place, and I want to kill them.”
“Unfortunately,” said Hodge, “we’re all out of bitter revenge at the moment, so it’s either tea or nothing.”
― Cassandra Clare, City of Bones
