My recent trip to The Biltmore in Asheville and seeing the Downton Abbey exhibit had me excited about all of the different items that they had for sale that had a Downton Abbey theme. I was thrilled to see that they had a nice display of Downton Abbey teas that were available for purchase. Of course I had to snap a couple tins up to taste test at home.

I loved that it was a little fruity with a plum pudding base.

Of course looking at Lord Grantham on the front of the tin doesn’t hurt my eyes at all.

Leave a commentI love the tea tins and I’m sure the tea inside was excellent. Maksim is always a great addition and should be in as many pictures as he wants to be in!!
The tins are lovely, aren’t they? And yes–Maksim is such a cute addition to all my pics these days it seems. He is my little shadow.
Yay for trying new tea. Ash and Corey brought me two lovely Rooibus blends from NY which I’m enjoying very much.
Oh those sound wonderful. I know how you love your Rooibus! Lucky you!
Love, love, love! My oldest daughter’s mother-in-law and sister-in-law went to the Biltmore on a girls getaway recently and were enthralled with the Downton Abbey exhibit. The sister-in-law, who is a talented photographer, got some absolutely stunning, gorgeous photos of the Biltmore decorated in all of its Christmas finery.
They really decorate it up pretty amazingly at Christmas. We missed going into the house this time because we had our priorities to see the exhibits and ran out of time but that is okay . It is such a great place.
(Cue my fake British accent.). I love the Bates’ and Lord Grantham’s teas! Can you believe it–I didn’t have a chance to see DTA on the big screen. I’m such a bad fan, but I was too caught up in life’s events to get to the theatres.
You will have to see it sometime! I saw it in the theater three times and loved it more each time. 🙂
What a great idea to market tea with this exhibit. Yes, to your sweet kitty photo bombing your teapot pix.
Buddy always used to be my photo bomber cat so I guess this little guy is taking his place!
Of course, sweet Maksim should be included. Love the tins.
Thanks, Shirley. Folks will see him whether they want to or not. 🙂
Well, I am not much of a tea drinker, so I will enjoy seeing More Kitty.
Thanks! He is a pretty fun little kitty right now and very photogenic. Thanks for stopping by!
I haven’t been blogging in ages and so glad to see you are still loyal to your teapot Tuesday…though this one is a tin rather than pot 🙂
