Teapot Tuesday – Kitty Lover Cup

14 Comments/ 14/ 1

Teapot Tuesday today features one of my favorite birthday presents this year.  While it is not a teapot it IS an adorable tea brewing cup.

My youngest son Aaron and his fiancee Erin got me this cutie for my birthday and I have been putting it to good use.

It is the perfect cup to brew some loose tea in with the help of the little built in fish infuser.

Not only does it brew a great cup of tea it also keeps with my preferred tea drinking vessel of china or glass.  I must don’t like drinking tea out of mugs .  It’s a thing with me.  My tea just tastes better in glass or china cups.  Personal preference and no scientific reason for it – just like it that way.  I suspect it is because I like to see the beautiful color of the tea.

This little guy is the perfect gift and what goes with a nice cup of tea?

A nice little matcha Kit Kat compliments of Aaron and Erin for Mother’s Day.  Yum.

That is truly adorable. I have a little manatee loose leaf infuser that hangs over the cup rim. Just love these little extra touches!

Yep. Matcha tea ones. Obviously they are foreign—I have had them in Japan and China so I suspect the tis the origin of these as well.

    How did humanity
ever get by without a tea manatee?

    Why do I never think
of these things? Because I don’t drink?

    🙂
