Thankful Thursday

9 Comments/ 2092/ 0

Seems like the thing to do in November is to start a thankful list.  Many folks on Facebook are using that for their status each day in November.  Each day they state a different thing that they are thankful for.  Not a bad thing to do and I think I did that last year but this year I haven’t jumped on the bandwagon for some reason.

Don’t get me wrong—I am very thankful.  I have a lot to be thankful for, trust me.  I know it!  I try to live in an attitude of thankfulness. I try to appreciate everything that comes my way.  For example–today I am very thankful for Mike the electrician who came after working a full day at his regular job to finish up all the electrical stuff on the bathroom renovations.  I am thankful that by tomorrow we should be done with this renovation.  Friday at the latest.  I am thankful that tonight I do not have a massive headache like I have had the past two nights.  I am thankful that I will see my husband in 2 days.  See how thankful I am????  I really am.

I have had such an amazing life and it isn’t over yet!!! Today’s post is a little lame but hey—I am thankful that you are reading it!!! And a special thank you to all the Burrito Bikers who have commented!  You guys are a great bunch!  Leave me a comment and tell me what you are thankful for on this Thankful Thursday!

Glad to hear the renovation is coming along so well. I’m thankful for the productivity level I’ve been able to do, aside from NaNoWriMo. I wondered if there would be any other life for the month of November. So far, everything is fitting together, we’re still eating, the sink is clear of dishes (except for a baking dish that’s soaking), laundry is getting done–and I’ve gotten in two workouts this week.

You definitely need to start a list. That is kind of what my list on here is about –Things that Make Me Happy–on the side. Started out that way, at least!!!

It enriches us to be mindful of all we have to be thankful for, doesn’t it? So many times we focus on the opposite.

Old Girls in Low Cotton
