The Day My World Was Rocked

12 Comments/ 78/ 0

I take my Wordle very seriously.

Very seriously.

But it was bound to happen and one day a couple of weeks ago it did.

I lost.

I was oh so close. I thought I had it but I didn’t. The correct word was “found”.

It ended my 60 game streak. (The first games really didn’t count because I hadn’t read the directions well enough to realize how the game was played. Typical. )

I was crushed. I really was. It surprised me because I am not a very competitive game player but it made me sad.

But I came back the next day and a couple of days later I scored this one.

Pretty good, huh? My first two guesser.

I might have found the perfect t-shirt for me from Life is Good. What do you think?

OMG. I love this t shirt. My kids and I play Wordle daily and we send each other our results. Way to go in your streak and awesome job on the next one

The shirt is adorable and perfect for Wordle lovers. I have yet to succumb to the obsession and feel like it’s getting closer to me playing. So far I haven’t.

There’s probably a group for this feeling. You could wear that cute Wordle tshirt and cheer everyone up. (If you don’t mind- perhaps you should have played a “D” in your second word?)The “rhyming word days” are challenging!

Love that shirt, and I LOVE Wordle. I save it every day until evening when I’m in my recliner, relaxing. That’s also the time for my crossword puzzle in the paper and the ‘word game’: finding as many words as possible in a given word. I remember when I lost my first Wordle, too. I didn’t have nearly as long a streak as you did. But, when I upgraded to a new cell phone last week, I lost all my stats, so I started anew. Yes, I am a certified “word nerd”!

Love the T-shirt, perfect for you!! I have played the game once. Didn’t not do too good. I might try again. Have a blessed weekend.

I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t know it kept track of your ‘streak’ so it didn’t bother me the first time I didn’t get the word. Even now, that doesn’t really bother me, but I sure try hard to figure it out!

Cheers! (I’ve never played Wordle. Is it one of those games-for-a-cause like freerice.com?
