Today’s Plans…Relax

12 Comments/ 83/ 0

Mr. Diamond is flying back home today and our weekend is going to be relaxing. After the excitement of the wedding last weekend we are ready for some down time. Our last company left on Thursday and I had a full day so things have not gotten done. I still have beds to make, rooms to clean, coolers to empty out and extra things to put away but it will get done in due time. This weekend is low expectation time. Or maybe better yet – no expectation time.

But the one thing we are doing today is going to see Downton Abbey. Are there any fans out there in the blogosphere? I have absolutely loved this series on television and have been anxiously awaiting the movie. Going on opening weekend was not an option but this weekend it is going to happen. I am so excited. It will be great to see the Crawleys again and catch up with Mr. Bates and Anna as well as the Dowager Countess. I can’t wait to see the costumes and hear all of the banter.

I think the rest of the weekend will be slow and laid back. Lots of time to enjoy being together and basking in the after glow of a lovely wedding weekend. Hope your weekend holds some wonderful things for you as well. Enjoy!

Just for laughs…

I want to see that movie too. I loved the series. Put your feet up this weekend, spend time with your hubby relaxing, and enjoy your weekend.

It sounds like an ideal weekend of relaxation. I hope to see the movie also. I never did see the ending of the series as TV reception failed at the time.

Well that is a bummer. I loved the movie and am heading out to see it again tomorrow and maybe a third time with another friend I am taking pity on because she doesn’t have anyone to go with. 🙂

Old Girls in Low Cotton
