Whoooo’s Ready for Teapot Tuesday?

8 Comments/ 99/ 1

It’s fall teapot time. I am finally embracing fall. I must admit I have been a little bit reluctant to get into the fall spirit but I finally pulled out all of the fall decorations and teapots that I have stored and I am moving on. I think I was looking forward to the wedding so much and admitting that fall is here is part of my sadness that the wedding is over. But over it is and move on I must. After all – there is much to love about fall.

I have shared this teapot with my readers every year since I bought it and I love it. It is a very small one and I use it more for decoration than brewing but it is one of my favorites.

There is a tiny piece of candy corn stuck in the bottom. I used this little teapot to hide candy in when we lived with Carlton. He kept eating all of my M & M’s and I resorted to hiding things in teapots and other places.
One of the things that I love is that I found some other pieces to go with this little guy. T J Maxx was my friend that year and they had a lot of fun fall decor items including this little owl set of dishes. They always make me smile when I see them. Always.

How can you look at this one and not grin? So embrace fall and love the colors as they pop out. I am going to follow my own advice. Don’t forget to leave me a comment for our Comments for a Cause – Warm Clothing Drive for Kids.

That tiny piece of candy corn brought back memories. I can’t bear to clean it out of there as you can imagine. Missing my Carlton for sure.

Happy fall. Although it is sunny and warm in Spain, I am in Canada now and there has already been snow. That little teapot warms my heart. Love the Carlton connection. Xo

Even though fall is making its arrival (cold temps but no leaves of color yet), I’m very behind in my decorating. So your cute little teapot today warms my heart and prods me on to get busy hauling out the fall items. 🙂

So cute!! What a bonus you could find the other items to go with us. I love fall and must admit I also am late putting up my decorations. It’s been so warm here in Virginia I just have not been in the mood. I think your cute little teapot has done the trick. Thanks!!

Love the owl collection! How do you store all of your pretty tea pots? They’d be broken in my house right away

I have a lot that are in china cabinets and hutches and on bookshelves. I suspect a lot are going to be getting stored when the new kitten arrives…..
