A Little Nutty on Teapot Tuesday

10 Comments/ 64/ 1

Teapot Tuesday features a little acorn teapot today that came from a collection that I found on eBay several years ago. A woman was selling off her mom’s teapot collection and this was one of several I bought. I love the colors and details on this one.

Fall is definitely in the air here and the leaves are just starting to show some color. It is always interesting to see what time they change each year and what the colors will be like. The perfect place to sit to take in the color change is on our back deck with a cup of tea — this seems like the perfect pot for the season.

Tea is wealth itself, because there is nothing that cannot be lost, no problem that will not disappear, no burden that will not float away, between the first sip and the last.

A very autumnal teapot! I’m sure that seller’s mom would be happy to know that some of her collection has such an appreciative home!

I have a Canadian maple tea that would go perfect with this pot. 🙂
