I have made 3 trips to The Biltmore Estate in the span of 10 days. Each time I visit the blooms are better and better.
Today’s post will share a few of those spectacular blooms that I experienced. Mother Nature, along with the expert help of many trained gardeners on the estate, is putting on quite a show.
With snow in the forecast for a lot of my readers I thought the vivid colors might add a spot of sunshine to a winter white and weary world. Enjoy and let me know which ones are your favorites.
Congratulations to Priscilla King for winning a copy of Kristy Woodson Harvey’s book The Secret to Southern Charm. I will be sending your address along to the publicist so that you can receive your copy of this fun book. Stop by later in the week to see more pictures from the Biltmore. I have a lot of really gorgeous pictures to share.

Can’t wait to get back to NC and be so close to Biltmore. Love the spring flowers, even though I am not a tulip fan.
As you know, tulips are my most favourite flower and these pictures are fabulous!! The little girl walking with her basket in among the spring flowers is my favourite. But I love them all. Thanks!
Great photos! I especially like the one with the little girl in it! So cute!
Thanks, Marci. The little girl was where she was not supposed to be but her mom was snapping pictures of her — she was walking in the beds and I feared she was trampling tulips and daffodils left and right but I guess it was all for the sake of a perfect picture. 🙂
Uh oh!
So gorgeous! And, I needed to see all those blooms after getting another 8 inches of snow yesterday! I always love all your pics from the Biltmore!
Hope your snow is gone by now and that spring is imminent. It has to be coming!
Oh thank you for the beautiful colors of spring in those pictures. We had snow AGAIN over the weekend. The Biltmore gardens were lovely in the summer when we visited, so I can imagine how breath-taking it must be in the spring!
Ugh. The snow thing has been relentless for some of my readers. The Biltmore does a fabulous job of making sure there is always something beautiful blooming. I can not imagine all of the work that it takes to get those gardens in shape but they do a great job.
Believe it or not, we woke up this morning to snow on the ground again. It melts during the day, but starts snowing again at night. Crazy.
So pretty to look at as snow falls outside my window. I love tulips but that little girl is probably my favorite little blossom.
She was pretty cute. I saw that you guys had more snow—I guess that is normal in April but by now everyone is ready for it to stop. I know spring will come but sometimes it seems to take forever.
Yay! I find myself looking forward to your spring Biltmore posts!! Spring is springing sister!
Glad I did not disappoint. Spring is definitely in the air.
The picture I like most is the one with the little girl and her basket.
I predicted that would be the favorite one. She was precious even if she was walking where she wasn’t supposed to be walking. 🙂
I can’t pick just one. They are all great and colorful. Lovely to see flowers in bloom.
Any time I can snag some pictures of flowers is a good day. It was a very good day on this day as you can see.
Yes – I appreciate the flower pictures!
With your snow in Iowa I am sure the pops of color are welcomed. Hang in there–spring is coming.
