Chrisisms—Can You Believe It Is Post 7 ?

You know you have missed them—Chrisisms!  These are the latest to add to the ever growing list.

  1.  “I am a free form jello eater.”  (This was when he was prepping for a colonoscopy and was not mixing his jello together like I thought he should for variety.)

  2. Chris said he will know he has finally made it when he sees his Chrisisms featured on K-tel.

  3. “The zoo would be a nice place if there were no kids visiting.”

  4. “If you are going to be a man, be a man, not a boy.”  (I can not remember the context of this but it made sense at the time.)

  5.  “Dysfunctionality is a common disease.”

  6.  “I’m about a 2X Aaron.”  (If you have ever seen our son, Aaron, you would agree with that. Skinny!!!)

  7. “I think we are getting old —we have more runway behind than in front.”

  8. “There are no committees on a sinking ship.”

  9.  “She needs to add onto her closet to hold all the skeletons.”

  10. “I am a quivering mass of indecision.”

  11. “Arthur (arthritis) is chasing me—better work on my bucket list.”

If you want to catch up on what you have missed in the wonderful world of witty sayings from my husband click here to go to the previous Chrisism post —the complete list of posts is at the bottom and you can click on each one to read more.  Just trying to please my Chris fans out there!

This one is chilling: quivering mass of indecision. And Arthur–I should say that when my knee bothers me. I still remember the day when my doctor said I had arthritis in my knee. My response was “I’m 36.” The disease didn’t care, neither did my doctor.

Yep—it does not care what age you are, that is for sure. And we are waaaayyyyy older but not wiser than you! 🙂

Oh please, I’m not wise. I ran into a pole this morning when walking Miles. He doesn’t let me have a cup a tea before we head out. It’s very dangerous since I am not a morning person. But he does love his morning walks. He’s the happiest little creature.

It is very interesting to have son and daughter in laws in our family that add their own talents and become part of who we are. I love them all.

I especially love that “there are no committees on a sinking ship” I just wish that the current crowd in Washington would look at things that way..

#3 made me laugh so much. It could be said about many places.

Ooh. I know a few people about whom #9 could apply.

    Great list!

So funny. I like the one about adding on to the closet to keep more skeletons in it. 🙂

Number 3 was from our June visit to the zoo with his brother and it was as a result of being around a lot of screaming whining children!
