Christmas Time on Teapot Tuesday

12 Comments/ 120/ 0

I love a good Christmas themed teapot and I have several in my collection as you can imagine. Some have been gifts and some I have found on my own.

The teapot I am sharing today is a recent acquisition from a local Marshall’s store –one of my favorite places to find great gifts and inexpensive teapots.  This one is fancy enough to serve at a fancy holiday dinner but not so fancy to not be used for every day.  teapot4-2

I am working my way through my 24 Days of Tea that I shared with you last week. So far I have enjoyed them with a few standing out to be more to my liking than others.  I have shared with Chris when he is home so he has reaped the benefits of the Advent teas as well and it is a nice way to relax together with a pot of tea, a bit of conversation and a warm fire.

The weather has turned rainy here but we are not complaining one bit as the fire that was threatening to come into North Carolina and was inching closer to our development is now under control.  We are so thankful.  So as we sip our tea from our festive Christmas mugs we thank God for rain and for firefighters and good tea.

“Her tea basket was still lost, but that didn’t seem to matter now. People used to eat loose tea on long journeys. They’d pack it into hard little cakes they’d pull out later, to gnaw on while they warmed their hands by a fire. The tea provided physical sustenance, but it was also considered good for the soul.”

Lovely! I enjoyed a very nice Vanilla Bean tea last night from my sampler. It was quite nice, especially since snow was falling and the fire was lit. A very nice end to the day

I had a coffee cake blend. It was pretty good until I tripped and spilled 3/4’s of it on my light colored carpet. #klutz #blamingmynewcontacts

You’re right. A perfect teapot for the season.

So thankful, too, for the rain in your region.

Very difficult handful design. A perfect art which raises the value of simple pot to premium designs.
