For the Birds – Transylvania Community Arts Council

7 Comments/ 188/ 0

I love a good art exhibit and have to share the latest exhibit at our local Transylvania Community Arts Council in Brevard, North Carolina. Their latest exhibit “For the Birds” is a collection of amazing art in various forms and mediums.

Each entry is unique and special.

I have a few friends who have entries this month and it makes it even more special to see what they have on display.

How about his whimsical bird?

.

So many different styles of entries.

Owls were a popular subject.

Barn Owl
Another owl on wood this time.
I really loved this one.

This one was stunning.

There was a special area dedicated to student artists.

.

.

.

More birds — more techniques and mediums.

.

We have such a treasure here in Brevard with this facility and all of the amazing artists that contribute to their exhibits. I am making a mental note to visit more often. Please feel free to go to their website here to get more information and classes, exhibits and more.

Wow! This is so cool, and one of my favorite subjects! I LOVE that robin that’s the middle painting in one of your images. Thanks for sharing. I think I need to go paint a bird or two.
