Make Your Next Cup of Tea a Bit More Fun with a Cute Infuser

5 Comments/ 77/ 0
Teaballs

Tea ball.  Tea strainer. Tea infuser. There are many names for a similar item and today on Teapot Tuesday I thought I would share a few of my own fun tea infusers.

A tea infuser is an essential part of brewing loose tea which is my tea of choice.  Some teapots come with their own little baskets that sit down inside the teapot that allow the leaves to steep once the hot water is poured over.  Some teapots have little strainers that are built into the spout of the teapot itself which allow the water to be poured out but the tea leaves stay inside the pot.

But many teapots need some type of infuser to hold the tea while it steeps.

These infusers range from the functional ball that my mom always used  to the more whimsical type that I am sharing with you today.

First up – a cat and a squirrel.

How about an adorable dinosaur?

Here’s one for all of the pig lovers out there.

Mr. Sloth gets my vote for cutest tea infuser today.

Finally, this T infuser seems to fit me to a tea…

Which one featured today is your favorite? I would love to know so leave me a comment and Comment for a Cause for Transylvania Habitat for Humanity.

I have one of those wire baskets that fits over the cup edge. Pretty boring and routine.
I do have a ball basket I have only use for spices in cider or wine.

    We ideas !

These are super adorable. I have a few of these myself. My favorites are my manatee and my tea ball with a bee at the end.
