Missed Connections

32 Comments/ 547/ 0

I just discovered a great writing prompt. It basically was to go to Craigslist and looked for Missed Connections. Honestly, I did not even know this existed. But it is a thing and obviously it is not MY thing but it is a thing.

So what happens in the Missed Connections part? Let me share a few with you that I found in Asheville.

Biltmore Inn (Ashville)

We just passed in the lobby about 30 mins ago. We had a brief conversation in the elevator. Let’s continue….

Petco on 191

The beauty with the black lab puppy. You definitely caught my eye.

CATS at Salvage Station

Total long shot, but it seemed like we exchanged a few glances last night. I was going to say hello after the show, but unfortunately we never crossed paths. Respond with what color sweatshirt you were wearing and what color jacket I had on so I know it’s you.

Cute Female Blond Driving Beige Subaru I-40 Sunday Morning (Marion)

To the cute FEMALE blond driving a late model beige Subaru Sunday morning around 10 A.M. you were traveling from/through the Asheville area Eastbound on I-40 we made extended eye contact off and on until you departed at exit #86 Marion. Message if you would like to converse further?

Flat tire on interstate (Mtn home)

I had a flat and a cast on my arm. You jacked it up for me and changed my tire and got me on my way. Thanks man. If you see this give me a shout. Enjoyed talking to ya.

Pisga fish camp (Bervard)

Two beautiful girls was sitting next to me as we sat down you guys were leaving we eyed each other several times and you looked at me almost like you wanted me to follow you guys when you left I went out to my rides car to smoke and I almost went up to you but didn’t want to be creepy tell me what color your truck is so I know it’s you

So I could continue to post what I found but you get the idea. Missed connections. A way to connect with someone when you wish you had done something differently. What a concept, right?

Do you have any missed connections in. your life? Let me know, if you are willing, in the comments. I would love to read about it and remember that each comment means a 50 cent donation to our Comments for a Cause – Transylvania Habitat for Humanity.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...
