Favorite Fall Recipe – Amazing Apple Dip

13 Comments/ 439/ 1

Fall is the best time to find the freshest apples around.  I love all of the different varieties and it seems like I find a new favorite every year.

With the air turning crisper and the leaves starting to change colors it reminded me that it might be time to share my favorite fall apple dip recipe with my readers.  I have shared it previously and it has always gotten rave reviews.

Simple to put together and a certain crowd pleaser I hope you enjoy this version of Amazing Apple Dip.

Servings Prep Time
10 generous servings 10 minutes
Ingredients
  • 2 blocks cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tub caramel
  • 1 package Heath Bar crumbles
  • 6 large apples-your favorite variety
Servings: generous servings
Instructions
  1. Combine cream cheese, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl and mix with electric mixer on medium low speed. Spread evenly on plate or whatever you are serving the dip on. Warm caramel just enough to make it easy to spread, stir and spread evenly over cream cheese mixture. Finish with sprinkling Heath bar crumbles on top. Cut up apples and eat immediately or mix with 1 TBSP lemon juice to prevent them from getting brown.

Hmm, I’ve made apple dip for years with the basic ingredients of brown sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla, but I’ve never thought of adding caramel and Heath Bar crumbles to it. Sounds decadent!! 🙂

It is so good. I am a sucker for anything with Heath Bar in it. I have a great coffee cake recipe as well that uses them. Yum.

True—if you are not able to eat cheese or cream cheese this is definitely not the recipe for you. But I am sure there are some other great ones out there –there are so many more great options out there now that people are aware of food limitations.
