What’s On Your Camera Roll?

13 Comments/ 110/ 0

Another glimpse into my life through my camera roll pictures.   Brace yourselves.  This may be VERY exciting.

How about a picture of a NEW ink cartridge for my printer that arrived like this.  Obviously this picture was sent to document that it was a used cartridge that they sent me.  Sigh.  Money refunded immediately but seriously – this made me a little nuts.

My sissy and I had a fun day in Old Town in Alburqueque after her son’s wedding and party.  It was a bit hot and I was tired but we managed to see some fun things, buy some artisan made jewelry and maybe, just maybe, a teapot.

An upcoming blog post will feature pictures from this lovely new shop in Brevard.  I found a new friend and a new favorite place to shop for vintage and up cycled items.

Hurricane Irma came at a good time.  My copy of the latest Murder by Month Mystery books by Jess Lourey arrived just in time to spend an afternoon cuddled with Buddy, a cup of tea and a great book.  Check out March of Crime if you haven’t already.  It is a GREAT book.  Please ignore my messy office – it is a sign of creativity, right?

Blowy days mean I want to make something yummy so I took advantage of being home and made some cinnamon rolls. Plated on an adorable plate I got from Burlap and Lace.  You can’t see it but it has a cute little coffee pot on it.

Hurricane Irma came at us with less force than we had originally anticipated which was a good thing.  Our driveway was a lush green carpet of pine needles and leaves.   It’s gonna take a lot of blowing to get rid of all of that.

Chris and I went to Mountain Song Festival at Brevard Music Center on Friday night.  This little cutie patootie caught my eye with her adorable red cowboy boots.

I cleaned out Little Free Library #51049 before the storm came in case it leaked into the library.  It came through just fine and I restocked it with a lot of great new books and the selection is great right now so I hope I have a lot of visitors stopping by to check it out in the next week.

Tell me – what’s the last picture on your camera roll?  Is it as exciting as mine?  Let me know in the comments section and remember that each comment this month means a $1 donation to Hurricane Harvey Relief through UMCOR.

We are so happy we made it through Irma so well as well. I was in Ohio this weekend and head to Idaho later this week but then I will be home for a few weeks. It has been a really crazy year travel wise but it is all good.

Well, on my real camera it would be a picture of the Bluewater Bridge between Canada and Michigan, as we came home on Sunday afternoon from our 3 weeks on the road. On my phone? Well that would be, of course, Katie-girl at the park yesterday.

My camera roll is full of pictures of friends and family from my trip back to Canada, visiting 6 cities. Just got back exhausted and happy. Last picture is of Dot the night I got home. She was as happy to see me as I was to see her. Glad you were not hit hard by Irma. Seems you and I have both been doing a lot of travelling lately.

Of course you have a picture (or two or three) of Dot. She is the cutest dog ever and I am so happy you had such an amazing trip. I think we tie each other for travel lately!

I love that mandala shirt! (Similar things can be knitted, and are…this is the first time I’ve seen someone who was not a model wearing one.)

I got the shirt in a Stitch Fix box and I love it! It was the perfect New Mexico shirt and I got a lot of compliments on it!

It’s always fun looking through your phone’s camera roll… the things we document nowadays. The last picture I took this evening was of a bright orange leaf to send to my mom. I love seeing all the hints of fall up here in the mountains. It’s beyond gorgeous!

It is definitely getting to be fall in the mountains. I am not quite ready for it.
