Turkey Time and CommuniTEA

5 Comments/ 80/ 0

I always have to share my turkey teapot during Thanksgiving week. He makes me smile and even though he doesn’t pour really well out of his tiny spout he has a place on my table this week.

I recently placed an order with my favorite online tea company, Adagio Tea, and they are always super great about including a surprise in my shipment. Everyone loves a surprise, right? This time it was a week of tea from their CommuniTEA program.

This program ( available for $19 a month) allows the subscriber to experience different teas blended by other members of the community. The community can then share their thoughts about the selection of the day by rating it with either a thumbs up loved it rating or a thumbs down hated it rating.

Members are encouraged to snap a picture of their cup and submit it to the community as well as submit more comments which help to earn points for that member that can be used toward future products. It is a great way to find new tea blends and find out what you love and what you don’t. I am not planning on joining (I have a huge tea stash currently) but I loved getting a sample and being a part of the community for a week.

Thanks for stopping by today – hope your day is filled with happiness and a nice cup of tea or two.

Gobble, gobble. That teapot definitely deserves a spot on the Thanksgiving table. Love the idea of communiTEA and will check out the company. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Chris.

It’s a fun idea and so far I have liked the teas that have been in the offerings this week. I don’t think I would want to do it all the time but a week every once in awhile is a great way tot ry new teas.
