Bears on Parade in Hendersonville, NC

9 Comments/ 25/ 1

Hendersonville, North Carolina is a pretty great town and since it is so close to us we find ourselves there quite often. When we did our apple orchard trip we took some time to walk around downtown Hendersonville and took a few pictures of their decorated bears. I have shared posts before highlighting their street art. They have new ones yearly and then auction them off with the proceeds going to charity. You can read one of my posts by clicking here.

Today I am going to share some of the ones I took pictures of on our last trip to Hendersonville. Some of them are pretty creative and all of them are just plain fun.

Check out the slippers on this one.

Aren’t they just so amazing? I absolutely love seeing the new ones each year and the pictures do not do them justice. If you are in the area you definitely need to take a stroll down Main Street not just to shop but to see all of the bears.

Do you have a favorite pictured today? Let me know in the comments and Comment for a Cause for Warm Coats for Kids.

I love all of these photos of the bears! This is sooo cool! It reminds me of the horse statues in the OBX. I liked all of the artwork, but I am still so in love with bears that I think just the standard ones appeal to me. Every time I see a bear, my heart just skips a beat. That relationship for me is still so new, and I am savoring each encounter. I thank God every time that I see one. Thanks for sharing this. Just another reason to love NC!

I loved the horses of the OBX! I think any of the towns that do things like this are just amazing places to visit and that is what always draws me into towns. If there are creative and fun art installations to look at I am all in!

Those are truly fun to see! I too like it when towns display this kind of artwork. The horses of the OBX come to mind and the groundhogs in Punxsutawney, right here in my neck of the Pennsylvania woods.

Wow. So cool. It’s like the bears all over Berlin. The bear is Berlin’s symbol and you can find them all over the city painted in all different themes.

Maybe someday I will see those Berlin bears in person! That would be amazing!
