It’s Miniature Time on Teapot Tuesday

6 Comments/ 88/ 0

Miniature tea sets are another fun thing to collect and I have quite a few packed away in totes under the eaves. I just honestly do not have room for every single teapot (imagine that) so some simply have to be stored.

When we were preparing to move to North Carolina in 2015 I tried to collect all of my miniature tea sets into one area and pack them up myself. It worked well and now if I ever want to put them out I know that they are all hanging out together.

This one is a beautiful one – it is a Wedgewood blue color (although it is not Wedgewood) and is decorated with cute white bows. It actually seems well made and the dainty tea set would be perfect for a little girl to use to play pretend tea party.

Who would then deny that when I am sipping tea in my tearoom I am swallowing the whole universe with it and that this very moment of my lifting the bowl to my lips is eternity itself transcending time and space?

So adorable. Love the color and design. There’s just something so sweet about a tiny tea set. I remember when my girls were little they loved playing and pretending with the one we had.

Awwww. Have you shown us miniatures before? If so I’d probably have told you about the tiny tea set my grandparents gave me when I was young. I still have most of it. It resides in my jewelry drawer.
