Teapot Tuesday - Downton Abbey Tea

My recent trip to The Biltmore in Asheville and seeing the Downton Abbey exhibit had me excited about all of the different items that they had for sale that had a Downton Abbey theme. I was thrilled to see that they had a nice display of Downton Abbey teas that were available for purchase. Of course I had to snap a couple tins up to taste test at home.

I love Mr. and Mrs. Bates so this tea was in my hand first.
I loved that it was a little fruity with a plum pudding base.

I always love a breakfast blend and this one with a hint of ginger makes me happy.
Of course looking at Lord Grantham on the front of the tin doesn’t hurt my eyes at all.

Maksim approved of my set up on the dining room table.

The little pieces of ginger in the blend on the left show up and this tea brews up with a really bold and lovely flavor. The plum pudding one has a nice flavor as well but I prefer the breakfast blend type.

What do you think? Should Maksim be featured in all my Teapot Tuesday posts from now on? He certainly looked great in this one. Happy 4 months to this little guy.
